Jason Davis

Jason Davis serves as Conser Music’s percussion instructor. He has taught students here since 1996. He attended Ball State University’s School of Music, studying under Dr. Erwin Mueller and Jeff Nearpass. He studied with Braham Dembar, principle percussionist with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Jason performed with the Ball State Symphonic Orchestra, Ball State Jazz Band, Ball State Latin Percussion Ensemble, Ball State University Chorus, IPFW Jazz Band, IPFW Percussion Ensemble, IPFW Orchestra, as well as with numerous other bands and groups of varied styles. He is currently the guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter in Streetlamps for Spotlights. His ten years of teaching experience includes private lessons, marching bands, percussion ensembles, jazz bands, and clinics. When not teaching or performing, Jason can be found at Off the Cuff Sound Recording, his analog recording studio. A full-time musician, Jason enjoys spending his off time listening to vinyl records.
